SUMMER is far behind us and Christmas is on its way – and that means gorging out on all kinds of food.
Celebrations chocolates are an essential festive treat for many households, but it’s worth knowing where it’s cheapest to buy them.

We checked out where it was cheapest to buy Celebrations chocolates
As shoppers pick up advent calendars and Christmas hampers as the colder weather sets in, we’ve checked out where’s best to get the sugary snacks.
Remember, it’s always important to shop around for the best deals, as sometimes you’ll find a product cheaper elsewhere.
Websites such as Trolley.co.uk let you compare one single product across a range of supermarkets.
Plus, the Latest Deals app lets you search items and compare prices at several supermarkets to see what the cheapest option is.
For now, this is where you can get a 650g of Celebrations on the cheap – and it was Aldi, which was selling the tub for £3.99.
Of course, the below figures are based on online prices and might not be the same in-store.
Tesco
The supermarket giant is selling a 650g tub for £4, which works out at 62p per 100 grams.
It’s also selling the same-sized boxes of Roses and Heroes and a 600g tub of Quality Street chocolates for the same price.
It was possible to get the 650g tub of celebrations for cheaper previously though. Tesco slashed the price of a 650g box of Celebrations to £3.50 last Halloween, a 50p reduction.
You can find your nearest Tesco here.
Asda
Asda is selling the 650g tub for £4 and they were available to buy online when we checked.
It’s also selling a 370g pouch for £3.50, but that works out much more expensive per gram compared to the 650g tub.
Meanwhile, Iceland is selling the same 370g size for £3, 50p cheaper than Asda.
You can find your nearest Asda store here.
B&M
Retailer B&M is selling a 650g tub of Celebrations for £5, that’s £1 more expensive than Tesco and Asda.
You can also get hold of a 388g carton for £3 and a 370g pouch for £3, so of course, it’s worth grabbing the larger size to save money.
All the sizes are only available in-store. To find your nearest one, click here.
Aldi
Aldi is selling a 650g box of Celebrations for £3.99, that’s 1p cheaper than Tesco and Asda. You can buy them online as well.
The German retailer is also selling a 370g pouch for £3.49, so your best option is by far the 650g tub.
If you want to go and grab a box in your nearest Aldi store, you can find your nearest one here.
Morrisons
Morrisons is selling a 650g box for £4.99, so 99p more expensive than Asda and Tesco. That works out as 77p per 100 grams.
The supermarket chain is also selling a 370g pouch for £4, although they’re on offer and you can buy two for £5.
So if you were to buy two packs at 370g that would work out cheaper than buying a 650g tub from Tesco, Asda or Aldi.

Iceland
Iceland is selling one 650g tub for £5, but you can get two for £8, which works out the same as Tesco and Asda.
It’s selling the 370g pouch for £3, so it’ll work out much cheaper to buy the bigger box.
The retailer has also slashed the cost of its 240g box as well to £2.50. And it’s running a three for £5 offer.
Again, that means it would be cheaper to buy three 240g boxes there than the 650g tub at Tesco, Asda and Aldi.
Ocado
Ocado is selling a 650g box for £5 so £1 more expensive than Tesco and Asda.
It’s also selling a 600g tub of Quality Street for £5 – that’s 83.3p per 100g.
And you can get a 370g pouch of Celebrations for £4 down from £5, but there’s a 380g box for the same price.
Wilko
Wilko, which also sells homeware and household items, is selling a 650g Celebrations box for £5.
However, they’re on offer, so if you buy two of them you’ll get them for £3.50 each.
That’s cheaper than both Tesco, Asda or Aldi if you buy a pair.
You can find your nearest Wilko store here.
Sainsbury’s
Supermarket chain Sainsbury’s is selling a 650g box for £5, so £1 more expensive than Tesco and Asda.
It’s also selling a 370g pouch for £3.50 and a 240g size tub for £3.
So if you’re set on getting yours at Sainsbury’s, it’ll be cheapest to buy the 650g box.
