According to RAC fuel watch, the national average is currently 190.65p.

While the petrol station’s current price is turning heads, it is still up from April this year, when unleaded was selling at 153.9p per litre.

People have taken to social media to share their praise at the petrol station’s low prices.

One user said: “If Trago mills can do it , then so can others. No excuses.”

While another said: “Good old Trago!”

One customer said: “Thank you. Why can’t the supermarkets do this.”

And one person simply said: “It’s a shameless free advert for Trago Mills. And it worked!”

It comes as petrol prices rise across the UK in part due to the ongoing war between Russia and the Ukraine.

Most of Europe relies on Russia’s oil and gas reserves for its own supply.
