ASDA has made a major change to meal deals in selected stores.
The lunch deal, which is usually three items for the price of two, is now three for £3.

Asda’s Food To Go meal deal includes a main lunch item, a drink and an extra snack – and you get the cheapest item for free.

But shoppers have spotted some stores trialling a new three for £3 deal.
One fan posted the finding to Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK.
She wrote: “Okay, clearly it’s not every ASDA, and this is NOT 3 for 2!!! You can clearly see the amount in savings.
“Probably not common knowledge but you don’t have to get a main, snack and drink. You can get any 3 for £3!”
Commenters on the post had mixed opinions about the discovery, with one writing: “My boys like the pasta pots for lunch so 3 for 2 makes them a bit better value”
Another wrote: “Might try my Asda”
And another asked: “Has it changed then?”
Asda is trialling this new deal in 18 stores across the country – although this number could change soon.
We’ve asked the supermarket which shops are running the trial and we’ll update the story when we hear back.
But for now, the nationwide Asda meal deal remains three for two and will stay that way unless a decision is made for official change in 2023.
Other meal deals in Tesco are £3 for three items, while it costs £3.50 for three at Sainsbury’s.
